Alex & Team

After finishing his vocational training in 2011, Alex has gained experience working as a potter in various places. It wasn't until 2018 when he opened his own Clayton Pottery in Kiyunga, Mukono, where he works together with his team members Sumayiya, Ronnie and Hadijah.

Alex is definitely the creative force of the association, steadily providing new designs that captivate customers at markets and bazaars all over Uganda and beyond. Through his innovative ideas, he aims to extend clayworks not only to tourists visiting his country, but also to local communities.
