Moses
Moses is the youngest member of the association. After finishing his vocational training in pottery in 2014, he started his Pottery under the Mango Tree in the North of the country. His high ambitions led Moses to come back to Mukono in 2017 where he now runs his business all on his own. During school holidays, he employs student assistants, teaching them valuable skills that enable them to find employment in the future.

Talking to Moses is inspiring, as he is full of plans and ideas for the years to come. He aims towards setting up exhibitions on African art and design in Kampala, which will also display his own works. He believes that African art has great potential in terms of creating self-awareness, empowerment and employment, which is something he really wants to share with the outside world. Besides, he is permanently acquiring new skills and expanding his catalogue towards larger products, such as sculptures and tiles.
