George & Team

George's Mukono Potters is the biggest team of all association members. Having finished his vocational training in 2011, George started the pottery with three employees only. This is hard to believe, considering the perfectly structured production which the 16 team members partake in today. Entering their workshop, one can clearly seize the ambition that keeps the potters going in their day-to-day production.

George's team is all about perfect technique. All procedures that the ceramics run through are carefully refined, and the outcomes are flawless. For the future, George wishes for more wheels and most of all, for an electric chimney which will enable the team to ensure excellent manufacturing processes.
